Today we attended the monthly Butler County Chamber of Commerce Luncheon at Winfields in David City, NE. We were happy to be able to attend and catch up with members of the community. Chris Blanke, RN, Public Health Nurse from Four Corners Health Department presented while we were there and provided the group with valuable information about making healthy improvements in your workplace and life. Community Home Care would like to encourage healthy daily habits and we wanted to share some of the information we learned with you!
As you probably know, February is American Heart Month. Learn more about ways to prevent Heart Disease and live a healthier life HERE. One key component to living a healthy life is watching what you eat; did you realize that about 90% of Americans eat more sodium than is recommended for a healthy diet? Today we have our open house in Stromsburg at the Midwest Covenant Home on 615 E. 9th Street. Stop by from 2:30-4:30 to pick up an application, ask our staff any questions you may have, or just to enjoy a snack and meet the new company in town. Community Home Care is expanding our services to the Stromsburg, Nebraska area! We provide in-home assistance to seniors, new moms, disabled individuals, and others needing help at home. We will have an office space inside of the Midwest Covenant Home at 615 E. 9th Street, Stromsburg, NE 68666. The open house will be held on Thursday, January 26th from 2:30-4:30 pm. We want to invite everyone in the community to our open house. Come learn more about how in-home care can help you or your loved one! We are also accepting applications for Aides or Companion/Homemaker positions. We will provide snacks and refreshments and have staff available to answer any questions you may have! enjoyed meeting more members of the community and is looking forward to serving the area!
We anticipate opening our doors to David City and the surrounding communities by middle to late September! Currently, we are
in the process of hiring caregivers and will go through an extensive training and orientation process before we are able to accept new clients. We would love to hear from you at any point, to take your information so we can make sure to add you to our
call-back list.
Community Home Care will be hosting two Open Houses in David City at 927 7th St. (at St. Joseph’s Court) on Saturday, August 27th from 9 am- 1 pm and again on Thursday, September 1st from 4 – 8 pm.
