Screening of our caregivers is one the most important jobs at Community Home Care. To us, safety of your loved one is paramount. We go far beyond the simple FDLE state required screening. Some of the additional screening our employees undergo include:

In-house drug and alcohol screening
Motor vehicle checks
Sex offenders list nationwide
Sanctions (not just criminal charges)
Employment verification
Social security and personal reference check
License verification including CPR and First Aid training
Competence Test

Upon passing all screening, employees attend extensive orientation to learn our policy and procedures. During training and beyond, these caregivers are always under the supervision of a registered nurse.
